I'm hesitant to offer congrats to you because last time someone said on here that they bought a jet, some of my life got wasted believing their BS. So consider this a provisional congratulatory statement, subject to a probationary period and photograph review before final issuance.

Nice paint scheme. What colors will it be?
G1000 + paint + interior = modern refurbishment
You will enjoy flying it. Get your RVSM authorization in process so you can get high.

That thread was an unfortunate, infuriating and unintelligent thing to do. It left a bad taste on a lot of us who voluntarily share our insight and experiences on BT. Not one of the best moments of this forum. In this case it's not a gag.

Alex, it's probably best that I fly it with you a few times just to be sure. (Hey I have some 525 time so it's all goooooood.) Seriously though, congrats on an awesome airplane!

I used to own 525-0001. It was an excellent airplane.

Speaking of improvements to the CJ, I've been talking with the Cessna folks about this mod which will be offered exclusively through Cessna hopefully next year. It is currently undergoing EASA certification and the FAA process will follow afterwords (they say it is faster this way as the Europeans make you redo all testing while the FAA is more pragmatic and allows for EASA test results). http://jetav.com/tamarack-winglet-equip ... ce-record/These winglets supposedly reduce time to climb and fuel burn which translates into longer range.
