Today Textron Aviation headlined Oshkosh with the unveiling of its clean sheet design, high performance single engine turboprop: the Cessna® Denali. Merely one year after revealing it was entering this segment, Textron Aviation is proudly showcasing the Cessna Denali cabin at its EAA AirVenture chalet this week.

Named to reflect its rugged, yet refined beauty, the Cessna Denali is already capturing the attention of the market and garnering commitments from customers. The Denali is set to enter the market as the superior aircraft in its segment, delighting pilots and passengers alike with its winning combination of features, including:

• Class-leading performance and ownership costs
• 1,600 nautical mile range, cruise speeds of 285 knots and full fuel payload of 1,100 pounds
• The widest and most comfortable flat floor cabin in its class
• Versatile cabin that can easily convert between passenger and cargo configurations
• GE Aviation’s all new advanced turboprop engine which reduces pilot workload and is equipped with single-level power and propeller control
• Segment-leading 53-inch wide by 59-inch high aft cargo door
• Aft cabin lavatory with externally serviceable option

In addition to the outstanding capabilities this aircraft offers, Denali customers will have access to Textron Aviation’s unrivaled factory-direct service network comprised of 21 company-owned service centers around the globe staffed with factory-trained technicians and engineering experts.

Not even close, the USB port is on the left side in the Cessna and right side of the PC12.

in regards to the name, thought that "Denali" was a protected trademark name für American Champion's 210 HP Scout…?

I've wondered if they would call it a Textron SETP, a Beechcraft / King Air SETP or in fact Cessna... it has been billed as a single engine King Air... but it isn't. When you think about product lines, Cessna already has the Caravan so I guess it makes sense.

It will probably be taken as another insult to the Beechcraft fans and employees.

I guess the Cessna Denali will be built to Cessna quality, not Beechcraft quality.

The innovation in the Denali is in the GE engine. New engines have often lead the launch of new aircraft lines. And there are a lot of ties with GE among current Textron Aviation management.

There may have been some exclusivity agreements between Beechcraft and P&WC that lead to GE engines needing to go into Cessna aircraft.

They need Aviation Partners to redesign that hideous winglet.
