I agree and i wish more could be converted especially use the pressurized fuselage of the 58P.

I think the point was that a poster here was & is trying to share his excitement about his incredible airplane, and I think it's sad that you'd actually ask him "what's the point" when he tells you it's a good fit for himself.

He never said you should buy one, or try to sell you one.

There are two 58Ps, one travel-air (first one made) two 55-B models and one C that Wendell had hands on that are in home built before the FAA shut it down and said no more. I do know of a couple of others that were copying the design and did not get into the home built category. One is a 58P and the other is a bonanza converted. Both of those are in experimental exhibition. I agree, that is not where I would want to be but they had to do what they had to do to salvage any value they could.
