I wonder if ole Peter has heard of this company and what they are doing in Vermont. If you want to see something new and groundbreaking check out Beta.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=7HKD5WsTq ... e=youtu.be

A short video of what they have been doing. Maybe Peter should watch this and stay to the end to learn a few things from their CEO who is not only an engineer but a test pilot in both fixed wing and helicopters. It’s a pretty cool story all in all.

That is cool. Anyone have the 411 on the Avidyne PFD in there?!

He didn't design that plane. He stole the idea from Nature based upon an already perfected design. That is a gorgeous plane!

What does "color" being misspelled have to do with this?

the first time we moved from the US to a commonwealth country (Australia) the kids were pretty young. One of my daughters was very quiet and deep in thought on the drive home from visiting her new school and meeting the headmaster. I asked her what was on her mind and she said "Dad, I'm not going to spell words with all those extra "U's". They might mark me wrong but I'm not going to do it".

Darn right! Those outlaws from the American Colony removed the U from the Queen’s English. First the T and now the U.
(Hopefully this isn’t a strike under the BT political policy!)

I was marked down on a book report in junior high for misspelling “gray.” I’d been reading books by RAF pilots in WWI and WWII and spelled it “grey.”

Grey is a legitimate way to spell it in the US.

As a parent I've encountered more than one teacher who is more interested in themselves than their students. It's especially bad when they're more ignorant than them.

Keep it simple
It's either Black or White...

The issue arrises when you go in the middle... You never know how people see things.
People can't even agree on the proper word...
