I’ve asked it before: what could possibly motivate that? Reverse bipolarity

I’ve asked it before: what could possibly motivate that? He probably just enjoyed to mess with us while it lasted. https://www.urbandictionary.com/define. ... et%20TrollI'd almost forgotten about the reversed PC-12 picture. Gotta admit that one was kinda funny.

And thus, his mission was accomplished with great success..........

I dunno what the psychology is, I guess. I was under the assumption that seeing how far it goes was the troll game.....but I also know what assumptions do, so I could be wrong.
Perhaps he was an investor, and was hoping to build the bric...errr.....brand, back up?

Fly Raptor, Fly I question your definition of "smart".
After looking at all the development that he has done on that bird, you do need to give credit where credit is due. My issue is that he is taking money from people... And can't in no way back up his claims. But it is pretty cool what he has accomplished so far. That thing has very little chances of ever flying. And hopefully won't kill anyone in the process. But I do recognize that he has some interesting ideas.

I think he bought into the dream, in some sort of personal way, as there are people on this very thread did, especially early on.
There are lots of people who dream of flying, but feel like the deck is unfairly stacked against them, by unseen corrupt forces who make it expensive to keep people out. It is a sort of David vs. Goliath mythos.
So the "dream" is dangled, a pressurized, fast, long range, personal airliner for the cost of a well-appointed luxury car (not even an exotic!) and boom, there's the underdog to root for, who can only be stopped by "unseen evil forces who are driven by profit..."
He's caught up in some false sense of duty to oppose all that evil that's trying to stop the dream. Including all critics, who of course, are just agents of those invisible evil actors...

I was referring to the troll, not the guy building the airplane.
But even then, what Peter has accomplished so far is to take a bunch of CF, epoxy and an Audi engine that make it run up and down a runway. If that thing ever does make it into the air (which based on his last few videos, I have my doubts) then he'll have accomplished something.

Took me a while to remember it...but kind of reminds me of the Valkyrie: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cobalt_Co50_ValkyrieEr, now "Centauri"... https://thearsenale.com/collections/centauri-aircraftQuote: The company ceased operations in July 2018 and the design passed to the Centauri Aircraft Company Attachment: Screen Shot 2020-02-15 at 3.47.42 PM.png
