How many celebrities/big wigs actually earn their keep on corporate boards anyway? Hell, lots of them serve on each others boards, but when the sh** hits the fan and the Feds come in with search warrants, they all plead clueless.

His latest update is pretty snarky. "What's that whining noise? Oh, it's just the comment section of my blog".

I thought it was funny too, and yeah, the comments from the peanut gallery have to be annoying. I'd probably be ignoring them at this point.

The pulleys potentially debonding and requiring a not too... elegant, however functional patch/ fix.
And oh btw there's a cleco bonded in the pully system.
You got to give the guy credit- he's committed to this project.
It's definitely looking like an E/AB with emphasis on the AB. If it wasn't being planned as a kit / production plane for sale, I'd be much less critical.

Sounds like the test pilots are involved and watching the progress so we will see when they come out if they will actually try to fly it or not. He is adding about 18-30lbs a week it seems like so if someone does not fly it soon it maybe to late. With a 17kW generator, he may make a nice hybrid electric car.

The last few videos have been short. Is this the week the test pilots are coming out? I know not much happened over Thanksgiving but it kind of feels like Peter is getting to the point where there is not much left to do. Seems like he said test pilots were suppose to come out the second week in Dec a few weeks ago but I don't think he mentioned that in his last post. Seems like that would be something he would talk up more if it was happening this week.

I'm just kind of curious why he doesn't go fly it in ground effect a bit himself. If he's that certain of his creation... I'm just sayin'.

walking through our warehouse this morning and noticed this, and thought of this thread
as a point of reference, this is an 18kW generator with output at 74VDC
it weighs 855 LB
