If only this plane was lighter, with a proper engine, working turbo, correct design, improved cooling... That's what? 2 more videos, and it will flood the market, bankrupt Cirrus, Airbus, and VW while we're at it.
I mean come on, who is not aching to jump at the opportunity to fly this thing RHS?
More seriously I sort of feel bad for Peter's efforts, until he does another video where he reminds every one that he is neither listening to people with the appropriate knowledge, nor even considering anyone's informed opinion. Oh and he puts his life in danger inflight.
Scrap it, start over, don't do the same mistakes.

Most of the things that need fixed on The Great White Whale wouldn’t need to be fixed if the guy in charge did more reading and listening, aka research, and less TLAR engineering, aka “I’m fine with that”. Dropping 1K from the weight of plane that currently only has a partial interior and no paint, without making major changes in other areas, will be a neat trick.

I think you misspelled “delusional.” Even if he sheds 1200 lbs and doubles the power to the prop, he still will be far short of the design goals. Think about the magnitude of that mountain to climb.

We done been polarized. I would be happy with it at200kts at 20,000’ hauling 800:lbs 800 miles at 20 gallons per hour for 200 grand I think that is no goals met, but a very marketable plane

I don’t think there is any market for a wider but slower version that takes much longer to build and has no track record. If he can’t beat Velocity numbers by a significant margin, the market for the Raptor will evaporate.

Is it pressurized? Not into nasal tubes.

Ah, yes. The pressurization system. Another item on the list entitled “needs re-designed by someone with more than a cursory grasp of physics and aircraft structures”.

I can’t read or keep up this thread real time. I find it curiously entertaining to read back to front when I do click on it. Kinda like the Seinfeld episode.

It combines low-friction and high-wear resistance with the high strength and stiffness such applications require. It provides a wide operating temperature range (-40 °C to 120 °C) and good colorability.Seems like an excellent choice.
