What's the best way to get an idea of prices? Trade-a-Plane NAAA, AOPA Vref, something else? Considering a purchase and need a guide for what to offer.

I'd also suggest calling Lone Mountain and/or TAS Aircraft Sales. These two outfits have a special relationship with Cirrus and seem to sell more used Cirrus' airplanes than anyone else. I've had pretty extensive conversations with principals of both firms on a variety of topics related to buying and selling Cirrus airplanes and found them to be very helpful. They seem to know about virtually every sale and track this information carefully.

I would also very enthusiastically suggest speaking to Neal Schwartz who is a fellow BT'er and aircraft broker par excellence. Neal assisted my friend and hangar partner in the acquisition and sale of his SR22 in the last year or two and he speaks very highly of Neal from both sides of a transaction. Of course, I can do the same as Neal has sold two airplanes for me.
