OK Piper, I know this is trivial, but: The M350 is a really pretty plane. But your full page ad on page 11 of this months AOPA magazine, which states "Own the only six-place, pressurized piston available" surely can't be correct. I own a 58P, how about the pressurized Cessna 210 and 337. I think these are still available. There are probably others.

Go buy a new 58P or P210 or 337 or B60 Duke, oh wait you cant. lol I think they are implying available as being new from the factory.

Oh? Can someone say P-38 Lightning?
There's a lot of sloppy copywriting around. According to Wikipedia ... The P-38L has a top speed of 414mph, but the DeHavilland Mosquito has a top speed of 415mph. BWTHDIK! (Wasting time sitting in a doctor's office!)

And the Grumman Tigercat was 460mph!

You really don't want them to give you 2 pages of fine print explanations like the Pharma ads do. Advertising has one goal - to get you to inquire for more information.

I realize this is not important (I apologize to all for not posting in babble talk) and I am sure you are correct in your above statements, at least the part about not being able to buy the mentioned aircraft new. (The link below humorously summarizes my statement about the ad, turn on your speakers). By the way, thanks Tom for reminding me that the A* (while not the fastest piston twin) is a six person pressurized aircraft to add to the list as is the Cessna 340. They are not new either (but they are available). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iLwAjOGQcHo

How many people, for example, fly their Colombia 400s at FL250 at max power? That's what you need to do to hit the speeds listed in their ads! Very true. If you are going 1000 miles you are doing it with 2-3 people and no bags @ 205-210 knots maximum.

There's a lot of sloppy copywriting around. Or even the howard 500.
