The Connie that Gen Douglas MacArthur used in Korea, and Brought him home when President Truman fired him, just landed at Chino Cal after a ferry flight from Casa Grande AZ. It has been recently sold to Warbird collector Rod Lewis and will receive maintenance at Steve Hinton's Fighter Rebuilders Shop.

IIRC, the EC-121 (spyplane) departed in 2012, headed for permanent static display @ CNO. The EC-121 is in the Yanks Collection.

Dang, Forgot this was built Post War. WWII had 20 produced as the C-69, Lockheed 049. Last time it flew was more than 10 yrs ago. This is actually a C121A, 749 model. After the Berlin Airlift it was converted to a VC-121A with an Executive Interior and was assigned to Gen Douglas McArthur. Now apart of the Lewis Air Legends Collection. http://planesoffame.org/index.php?mact= ... turnid=128
