Ultimately, the market for $1MM piston twin is puny...witness crappy Baron & Seneca V sales.
Diamond should have made this plane price competitive with a Cirrus and gone after those type with compelling safety arguments.
I also think the "you-buy-now-we'll-maybe-get-better-engine TBO-numbers" will give a lot of buyers pause.
