IIRC, the Mooney couldn't fill the tanks and take off with only the pilot if he were 200 lbs or they exceeded gross. I brought this up to the Mooney people at Sun-N-Fun and received a bunch of blank stares. They promptly went out of business the next year. Maybe they increased the gross since then.
