Not much more than a regular pre buy and you get one of the more knowledgeable teams out there to look the plane over. I believe a good amount of the pre buys DFWAM does are done by traveling to the airplane. Two airline tickets and hotel is cheaper than flying across the country. Also what's the cost of a prebuy done by someone who misses half the important stuff?
A good prebuy is one of the better investments you'll make on a plane.

Vince - I don't know - I would call them if you are interested. That said, I doubt it would be as low as 1000 or as high as 10,000. Here is what they say about Prepurchase Inspections and their flat rates for doing them - I believe in looking over a potential purchase, the travel costs of having them go and look at the aircraft - and fly it - is a minor item. Having someone knowledgeable on your side/team is invaluable.

Juan O. helped me with the purchase of my Citation which was located at ICT. He also traveled all the way to Washington state to help Doug Jackson buy his STOL equipped 340.
Last year he traveled to North Texas for someone who was about to pull the trigger on a 414 after a local mechanic had kicked the tires. After the first hour of looking at the plane and records, he decided it was unsafe to even try to fly. The deal did not go through. Sadly, the guy that did buy it a few weeks later ended up crashing on the trip home (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... rport.html). An extreme example, but if I was on the market for a twin Cessna, I would call Juan or Tony Saxton and have them assist me - regardless of where the airplane was located. If I was in the market for a B58P Baron, I think I would call Don Lawrenz.
For complex aircraft like these, unless you are an expert on the make and model, get the best help you can get in the aircraft you want to buy.
