"Perspective Touch" does look really cool! I do wish, however, that they'd have an editor read their web scripts before they put them out in public. I know I'm picky sometimes, but COME ON! It's = it is. For nearly a decade, Cirrus Perspective by Garmin has been considered the industry standard in general aviation avionics. And like it’s predecessor, the innovative Perspective Touch is also exceptionally advanced.. That's it! I'm never buying an SF50!

It looks awfully similar to a G2000 except they rotated the touch controllers and added more because ... I don't know ... more screens is better.

Reading further on the website; they are quoting 300 KTAS AOA integrated stick shaker and pusher 12" radar FADEC
Pretty impressive. Seems like it may go beyond even the Garmin G3000 features.

Looks great and I hope they sell millions. But. If it does 300kts, it will burn more fuel than a TP twin. Just saying.

I was speaking with the Cirrus rep this week and he's still quoting 300 knots. I know many here are skeptical but if it lives up to it's quoted numbers it's going to change the market. I agree. I went to a small UK air show in the summer. Most of the light turbines were on display. I've sat in - a King Air 250 - a Citation M2 - PC12 - TBM900 - Meridian and the SF50 static display airplane. The first four are vastly superior aircraft. But the one I really liked was the SF50. It looks really modern, and the others look like the older designs they are, outside and in. The cabin is somehow wide and open and easily accessible. It's as if someone at Cirrus woke up and said "hey, maybe the guy paying millions of dollars for a plane would like to be able to get in to fly it, you know, without a bunch of contortions and twists and turns and hand-foot placement strategies" I think it's target market will love the SF50. The wow-factor with the panel is just one example of what Cirrus get right.
