1955 C180. Sorry I don't know anything about this one but fits your request. Thanks, that one looks pretty good. I'll pass it on.

look for a C185, you want 300 hp and fuel injection.

I have a A185F that was completely overhauled in 2007 that I'm planning on selling this fall, 1400TT, 300 SMOH, Garmin panel, new paint and new interior. If you are interested I can send Pics.
I'd agree the 185 is a much better all around plane, it does everything the 180 can do with more power (including more load capacity).

If you don't need the load hauling, a Cessna 170 with 180 HP and CS prop conversion provides much of the performance of a 180, and costs less to acquire, run, maintain, and insure than a 180. The 170 has much more "style", the round tail feathers are just classic. My first 480 hours were in a 180 HP 170B. Got my private in it. Still miss it... http://www.airport-data.com/aircraft/ph ... 15489.htmlMike C.

+1 Mike
I'm a huge 170 fan. My grandfather bought my family's airplane in 1986, my father sold it in 2008, it came back to NC in 2013. I've been flying it a bunch in the past year. I'm averaging probably 70 hours/year in it at my current rate. My wife and I hope to buy it soon.
Ours is a stock 1952 B model, but I've flown one with an XP Mods TCM IO-360 conversion with CS prop and it was a monster. 180 conversions on 170s are pretty popular, well supported, and perform great. In fact, the early (first year or two) Cessna 180s have the same MGW as our 170 does.

I know of a 180 that I believe to be for sale. At CRQ.
I'll call up the co-owner and get the lowdown for you tomorrow.
