So I'm thinking of going LSA ... I found a very, very clean example of the breed. Almost too clean.

I opened the cowl ... and the first thing I notice is that the ignition leads have to make a VERY HARD 90-degree turn as they exit the mag. And that they firmly rub against the firewall. For me, this really chills my interest.
Question #1:
Is this "normal" for this STC?
Question #2:
Thinking about a Field Approval to: Cut two holes in the firewall and inserting cups/dimples so that the ignition leads don't rub? My guess is: Slim chance. Or; fat chance. Not really a difference, eh?
Question #4:
Anyone ever seen right-angle ignition lead adapters?
