You go a lot further each of those hours. Just hope you don't have to buy an overhauled carbon brake unit or a pitch trim actuator,,,, 38,000 (Per Side) and 39,000 respectively

Is that what you guys are seeing? Would that have been John Maris's (Marinvent) plane? Not sure if they still have it.
No. Marinvent sold its plane several years ago. Ironically, it is now once again for sale:

This Avanti I has the Honeywell Primus Epic avionics package. In fact, it was the test bed for obtaining that STC in 2005. It is my understanding that in 15 years, it is the only Avanti in the entire fleet with this avionics package installed, with Garmin being by far the preferred way to upgrade the Avanti I. I'm wondering if being the only one of its kind will slow down (or substantially reduce the price) of this particular airplane?

If there isn't one I would treat it like an airplane that needed a Garmin upgrade ....

Anthony,
That's awesome! Please report your time westbound when you get home (and your headwind just to keep it fair!). Inquiring minds want to know...
Looking at the photo. Did you get the single point fueling issue solved?

Met Mark and saw his beautiful II at ICJ in Tulsa this afternoon. I don't know what the fuss about Avanti sound is. When he fired up, taxxied away and took off I thought it sounded awesome!

Wondered if all the Avanti traffic today was some of the BT converts.

Agreed Anthony. The low noise level combined with a 4800' cabin at 35,000 feet really helps with fatigue on long legs. Not to mention a usable head Attachment: 263565ED-D29C-4DB3-8E14-58AE73A4E32B.jpeg Mark
