That's how many are on Controller. I have 4 others on my list. One off market. The others listed elsewhere and currently for sale.
Well 1 of those is mine. One other is under contract to a friend of mine. So we will have to settle at 13

This is simply a magnificent aircraft. I didn’t enjoy its whine when I was based at KCMA but I appreciated its fine lines and talking to its crews.
I also dug up several of the technical papers on its canard system and am impressed by the practical engineering.
Am currently based ar 46U alpineairpark.com where we have quite a few high-end business jets but no Piaggios. So fly in and visit and I will offer you a glass of wine.
Blue skies,
Tom

I knew I should have kept my mouth shut about this catfish - this is ruining my chance of moving in on one for 50 cents on the dollar! Yup, I can guarantee you that this here discussion has lead to more sales. Prices of P300's are dropping and I think it's a result of the resurgence of the Piaggio. Hope that they get funding and become a stronger player in their segment.

It’s lunacy that they didn’t sell better. Bigger cabin should always sell. The people buying these planes generally ride in back. My wife has flown in p300. She said there is no comparison to back of Piaggio. The whole AvantAir debacle really set the company back.
Socata should buy and market as a TBM step up. Throw a Garmin panel in from the factory and it sells itself. Having owned a 300kt plane I can say with certainty less noise, more room, more attitude on about the same fuel burn is a real upgrade. My moneys on Pilatus, fits nicely between the PC12 and the PC24. And they are next door to each other...the Pilatus PC18

That would save the company. Learjet's are SP planes with a narrow cabin - they're not meant for charter and 2-crew scenarios.
This is an interesting point, you could be right. But... for the sake of argument, do SP jets need a different feature set to succeed in the market? I think SP jets “lean toward” owner flown, which to me often means wanting to be able to go off the beaten path of big airports, etc. So to my mind, a SP jet makes sense giving up a little speed for better runway and hot/high performance, for example. And also having simple maintenance programs since owners often don’t have a lot of staff hanging around to deal with issues all the time. To those extents, Lears in particular may not suit the SP market. But this is pure speculation on my part. I don’t know how many prospective SP owners out there feel the same.

I knew I should have kept my mouth shut about this catfish - this is ruining my chance of moving in on one for 50 cents on the dollar! Yeah you kind of screwed up if you wanted to keep this aviation secret under wraps. I know of at least 3 others beside me that are actively serious about purchasing one. The Garmin TXi upgrade has really given new life to the older birds. Once you compare them to a 5 million dollar M2 or HondaJet its a no brainer as to their appeal. I mean where else can you get 380 knots at 380 with 580 lbs/hr with a cabin larger than something costing 7 times as much? Anthony is right,,,, the cabin dweller is who buys these airplanes! Flight Safety starting Monday for initial then pick this baby up at the end of the month. More excited about this purchase than any other airplane I've ever had (except my first Tri Pacer of course ) Attachment: fullsizeoutput_4144.jpeg
