I bet the Beech Starship 2000 had a similar noise signature. Never been able to hear one from real, and youtube does not help a lot, but should have been similar. New exausts and scimitar propeller (also spinning at 1800 RPM instead of 2000) helped a lot to make it a bit less obnoxious.

A Starship flies into 46U from time to time. I live close to the runway and have no heard anything unusual. Nothing like brand P.

Yes, the TPE351-20 was ready for certification (application on an Embraer turboprop) when the company pulled the plug. Performance was excellent in the pusher config - the program was stopped for business reasons.
So, it never went into production, but the paperwork was bundled and ready for FAA-approval when everything ended.
