Legendary UK operator Aurigny retires their last Trislander (G-JOEY) after 40 years in service. Even though only a mother can love the looks of the Trislander, it does have some kind of endearing charm. Like a piston DC-10. And I must admit I got a little emotional when I read the passengers patted the red nose as a last goodbye. Can a machine have a soul?

I've seen them on a trip to Jersey and Alderney with our Bo some years ago.
Sad to see them go!

BTW, the Channel Islands is one of the most lovely places around Europe. French cuisine combined with southern English countryside!

I saw the Trislander in Cozumel Jan 2015. I'll dig around for a picture. It was in a hanger and apparently in use.
