Nice aircraft, no doubt. But design leaves me a little cold. Don't like the vintage style MD80/Gulfstream tail - looks old or something coming off that Comac Chinese airplane. Don't like the front cockpit windows - looks like a Dash8 rejected design and very 90's. And the small fanjet casings/inlet also makes it look old and uneconomical. Big fans look good. That's why the Citation X looks so hot.

Sorry, this is not helping. I know it will be very successful and good, though. I'm thrilled they're flying it and certifying it!

I'm a substance over style guy, so it looks great to me when the design is more about how it works than how it looks. Over time, the better working aircraft tend to be the ones people gradually decide are better looking.

Nice airplane. Hope it is a smashing success and drives the prices of older jets into the basement...where I will then be pleased to pick one up. :D

If the hard facts on that airplane (speed, load and range) are close to reported, it will sell very, very well.

Adam it ain't that ugly...... ;)

I love it.

They're promising me delivery in 2020. You think they'll make that timeline?

How long does it usually take from "first flight" to "delivery"?

Computers, yes.

Airplanes, no.

5 years is FAST. Mustang went from announcement to first deliveries in 5 years and it was about the fastest jet development program ever.

Eclipse 500: 8 years announcement to first delivery.

Cirrus SF50: 9 years and counting...

For $9M, the PC24 will have some competition.

The Mustang was a quick program because it was just a shortened CJ. Eclipse was clean sheet using proprietary avionics and friction stir welding.

Hats off to Cessna for their ability to roll out new jet models. They know what they're doing.

No it won't.

No other plane that size is single pilot, short field, cargo door etc. PC24 is a game changer. The closest thing to it is an XLS but that requires 2 pilots.
