This is where I buy my Ti tube - Steve Meredith North American Alloys ph: 509-586-8848 Fax: 509-586-4943 www.northamericanalloys.comgreat place and they have a ton of it an very reasonable pricing. However, they have a $1,000 minimum order . . . If you only need a few sticks, PM me and we can work something out - I have a ton of 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 in several wall thicknesses. Unfortunately, the Ti B nuts, while available, are $300 each - I made all my own on my CNC - cost about $.50 / each for the material . . . I used aluminum fittings and had them nickel plated. The S211 uses almost exclusively MS flareless fittings - very easy to work with. There are only a few flared fittings, but the Ti tube flares very nicely with a power flaring maching.

Yes, hot rocket seats - nice to have 0/0 seats. . .
It has a bit more than 2 hrs of fuel w/ reserves (212 gallons) - so about 650 miles range. There are pylons and drop tanks, but I haven't been able to locate those . . . yet.
Fully aerobatic - +6 -3g. Inverted fuel and oil.

Thanks, Dee, I appreciate the offer. First, I have to work out the complex chemistry of the feed liquid to see if I can use Ti alone or have to line it all with Teflon. In any case, the client will pay aa lot because it is desperate to have us clean this horrible stuff up because they're paying a fortune to have an environmental company cart it away...

Awesome work! Maybe too good. Seems like overkill as you have turned it into an art piece now.
I was all hot for a 211. I saw those Singaporean S211s for sale in OZ and I see the one at Changi on the stick every time I fly down there; going in a few days in fact. The birds in OZ were selling for around $175k. I've seen some restored versions selling for 330. I'm sure yours will raise that ceiling quite a bit. One of the guys here in French Valley has one, but he has kept it in the original Singapore colors. Did you think about upgrading the engine to the later proposed Aermacchi updated version, -5?

Beautiful Regarding the paint scheme: looks very unique. Does it emulate anything? Or is it just plain (plane) cool?

To answer a few questions . . . - No real significance to the paint - just something I thought up and like. It took a bunch of tires to get the pattern down, but I love the result - it looks WAY better than in the photos I posted . . . - Yes, it needs a bigger engine - the JT15D-5 would be nice and will bolt right in - I'm on the lookout for one at a reasonable price. However, the Williams FJ44-4 would be the ticket - 1000 lbs more thrust on less fuel - would make it almost 1:1 thrust to weight. . . - I imported the S211 that is in French Valley - belongs to a friend of mine - he is saving up for a killer paint job. The "Home Depot" orange is hideous . . . - I imported 5 of the X-Singapore S211s from Australia - they were such an amazing value. A friend of mine bought all the remaining airframes - think he still has a few for sale . . . - My aircraft is not one of the Singapore airframes - mine came out of Haiti - never flew there but was sold new from Haiti to Thornton Aircraft. It has a little over 600 hrs TT. I bought it from a guy in Germany. Yes, it's a piece of art, but I will fly it - hard. That is after I take it to Oshkosh and win every award

Hey Layne - I see you are in Driggs, ID - I'm building a place in Alpine, Wy (46U), so I'm sure you will get to see the S211 up close - hopefully this summer!
