The attraction is not the performance it's the nuts and bolts, and THAT is a fine collection of them.

Hi Dee, was your aircraft listed by Courtesy Aircraft a couple of years ago? I believe it was N852TC. Congratulations on the beautiful restoration!!! Truly stunning and the best restoration I have seen to date!! Well done sir, a true achievement to be proud of indeed!! I love the digi camo paint job as well. Did you do that yourself or did you have it done? Beautiful in any case!

Sorry for the long absence from this thread - the S211 was completed and flying - such an amazing little airplane. We encountered a little hiccup though - one of the MLG actuator seals was replaced previously with an incorrect part, and the right gear collapsed while sitting in the hanger -not serious damage, but grounded me for a few months. In the interim, we've been busy with the Lear project - here are before / after shots. Looks insane - Lexus Nebula Pearl Metallic w/ Cerakote Sniper Gray wheels, and titanium metallic landing gear / actuators. Can't wait to fly 2 ship w/ S211! Next up, the 7 Canadian F-5Ds sitting in my hanger just started on them, and will post photos. Shortly. Lastly, just acquired JetAir Systems http://www.jetairsystems.com at Gillespie Field in San Diego - deal closed today. I'll set up sponsorship on forum - hope everyone will fly in to check out the new digs and maybe send some maintenance work our way! I'm also working on a fuel discount program for beechtalk readers . . . stay tuned!

(I'm only saying what my 18-year old son said about it, but I happen to totally agree with him!! That's beautiful!!)

Much like.

Lear 31? I flew the Lear 60. That is still one of my favorite airplanes to fly.
I'll have to buzz down to Gillespie in my Aerostar to check out your new digs.
F5 projects sound pretty exciting. Sounds like you're becoming the new Thornton.

Did my first S-211 training flight last month with the Victory guys out of Circle Air there at Gillespie. They have been doing some renovation. Helpful and knowledgeable staff combined with a great, easy access location make for a great FBO.
