I saw some great photos of wrecks on here and realized that I had some of my own to share. This one is in Papau New Guinea, New Britain off of Kimbe Bay.

The Mitsubishi A6M Zero was a long-range fighter aircraft, manufactured by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, and operated by the Imperial Japanese Navy from 1940 to 1945.

This one is thought to have crashed in Kimbe Bay some time in 1944. For more history on this wreck check out:

Really cool shots. I often wonder what is hidden on the sea floor. I bet there is a lot of history there.
