My maintenance guys have a charter client that just bought a PC12 and they're getting it ready for 135 ops. I have seen numerous PC12's on ramps, landing, takeoffs etc, but I'd never been this close to one. I was crawling all over it yesterday and my goodness is that thing big! I never realised how frickin' huge they are! The fuselage and tail is about the size of a King Air 350, almost. I always thought they were a slightly roomier size equivalent to the TBM, but it's almost twice the size.
Anyway, plane seems very well built and nice. Cockpit is roomy and nice and that cargo door locking mechanism is like a Fort Knox safe, for one. Love the little button that activates it electrically as well. Like a car boot.
Be fun to take a ride in one, one day.

I share a hangar with a Lear 31. He's 2 stops to the west coast from Atlanta. I'm "no stops" unless the winds are really bad than I may be 1 stop in Utah.
I've always got at least 5-6 on board if not more.
The only legitimate "single pilot" step up from a Pilatus is a Phenom 300 or the new PC24 if it ever gets to market. I love my plane. Your car is pretty sweet too!

I've not crawled around a PC-12 on the inside yet but I'm next to them on the ramp often and I agree that they look HUGE on the ramp. From what I've seen and heard, they are wonderful on the inside too. I'd like to fly one some day too.
