Anybody who figures out how to build a 250-500hp turboprop that can match the total ownership cost of an IO-540 over 1000 hours will sell a lot of them. Hasn't happened yet and doesn't look close either.

It's worth having this thread to remind myself that a guy like you is out there, functioning in this world without a lick of common sense.

That's your usual back pedal when you've lied about what someone has said. Then, for good measure, you insult them as well. It really is kindergarten level stuff.

I have to assume the Jeffs condone your abuse given how extensive and chronic it is. If you only stated your views and didn't insult others, BT would improve a lot.

You have a chronic history of doing exactly what you accuse me of doing. One need only reference this thread and a few others to see that you cannot debate a subject without making personal attacks. Nor can you take a dose of your own medicine.

Now that's funny right there! I don't care who you are.

Need people and investors with a different mentality , how were the people and engineers of the 60s and 70s as Elon Musk today .

That person may even be able to afford a single engine jet ;-)

Another lie, of course.

It is the fashion these days, apparently.

I'm also amused at the "I'm no worse" excuse as if that makes it all okay.

I read a BT thread and hockey game broke out...

Physical threats are a new low, sadly.

Your assumption is incorrect--in fact, we do not condone the actions of either one of you. The bickering between you two needs to stop.

Awe man, I was hoping this would be the first thread to hit 500 pages.

Well of course there are already threads that exceed 500 pages. This one will go on to become the top thread on BT and will likely never be surpassed. Why? Because it's a V Tail jet that the majority of BT'ers secretly or overtly wish they had in their hangars, warts be damned.

It's the plane Bonanza owners, especially V tail owners, wished Beech/Textron had the attachments to build.

It's a personal F16 for gawd's sake!! Embrace the emotion of it.

The era of aviation being dominated by crusty, old, boring, by the book, way too serious aviators is coming to an end. The SF50 and A5 are ushering in a new era. An era where emotions takes it rightful place place along side rational practicalities. As it should be.
