The SF50 is brand new, new avionics.... .. and ...the SF50 is 5 years away if you order today. When we get to 5 years from now, there will be used SF50s for sale. You can count on it. Some number of buyers will have tired of the limited performance and will be moving on. Quote: The end result, the SF50 is going to hurt the value of these SETPs and Jets. I doubt it. I think the opposite will occur. The SF50 buyer is typically an SR22 owner moving into turbines. If they tire of the cost, they move sideways to an SETP. If they got more money, they move into a real jet. So the net effect is the SF50 is a gateway drug to other turbines and thus won't steal sales from the existing SETP or jet markets. Mike C.

They filed for 300 KTS. I went on Flightaware and saw them level out at 270, doing 300 knots. Went on FltPlan.com and did a quick plan in the 200 at 270, and they should have been seeing 15 knot push. Which makes TAS about 285kts, not 300. Thoughts? Over most of our four legs we saw cruise speeds above the promised 300 KTAS. Early in the first leg, speed maxed at 297 knots, but the temperature was 11 degrees Celsius above standard. Otherwise, burning the predicted 64 gallons of Jet A an hour, we routinely saw more than 300 knots.https://www.aopa.org/news-and-media/all ... vision-jet

Didn’t look it up on Fliteaware but saw a SF50 leave Duluth today for Germany. Routing thru Olathe , St Louis, Goose Bay, Frobisher(sp), Green Land, Ice Land, Scotland, etc. The factory is humming with activity. Finding it challenging to get my head around the many pages of options provided by the Garmin Perspective while trying to also execute typical emergency procedures. Will see if they are doing specials on SR22s if you agree to buy a jet.
