Haha! I thought of the certain hygiene product from the Sausage Factory movie!
Thanks for the laugh Mr. C!

Based on history, it was due in 2008. I am willing to bet economy tanking killed it.

When the G5 was announced, the word was that the number 4 is unlucky in China.

Man, I would love to be opposite-you!

Instead of an SF50, I have an SR22.

Instead of a Tesla, I have a Ram 2500 4x4 Diesel.

Instead of Nike’s, I wear chucka boots most days, unless the job site dictates steel toes. On Saturdays, it’s NB if not the chucka boots again (they are super comfortable - the chucka boots).

But if only I could afford to be opposite you, I’d LOVE to have a Tesla and an SF50.

But you nailed me on two out of five (unless you count out of leagues but likes, and then I’ll give you 4 of 5). Usually, I meet Wendy at Starbucks for a mini date a couple times a week - her choice. Maybe for the first time in my life, I went there by myself today. I took the picture below, with my iPhone XS Max, and told her I missed her. And I’m typing this on my iPad Pro. Still want to try the Apple Pencil....

Opposite-you doesn’t suck. :D

BTW, I know that AOPA is January ‘18. I forgot the one I got last night, so I dug a little in the giant stack of plane mags I have in my office, thinking I probably missed, or at least forgot, something. I can’t do the stereotypical stare at my iThing in Starbucks by myself. Even opposite-Mike has limits....

It really was a picture I took today. ;)

That stack is COMPLETELY out of hand.

Mike, this is all assumptions on your part.

I think Cirrus was motivated to release the G2 to raise the price.

Look at the SR line

Did anyone sign a contract for an SR22 and have their price almost double before delivery?

No.

That is what is happening with the SF50.

The only reason this is going down without a disturbance is the customers have drunk the Kool Aid.

I have yet to see where Cirrus reneged on the contract.

Cirrus is not delivering at the price on the contract.

How is that not breaking the contract?

If you become my client, can I do the same to you? :-)

Interesting top 5 factors by which to define one's self (or, I guess, not self).

Curious - how many aircraft have you purchased new with future delivery? I never have and never will, but wondering how you have gained such insight?

I know a lot of people in the industry, I keep my eyes open, I read the fine print, and I've seen a lot of things.

I know a lot of people, I do a lot of reading, I’m smarter than the average bear, and I have dashing good looks.

Cirrus still won’t let me design their airplanes, their pricing structures, or their marketing plans.

What are they thinking? ! ! !

On this we disagree. There are enough lawyers on COPA that if Cirrus broke the contract there would be lawsuits. It is purely a matter of odds; and there are many people who are very skeptical of Cirrus; and assume the worst in Cirrus motivations.

"The backlog is 540 jets, but prospective buyers don’t have to wait years to get one, Bergwall said, as some earlier slots are usually available. Cirrus can also increase the production rate if the market demands faster deliveries."

If you are an SF50 position holder, how does that make you feel? Your plane is delayed while new sales cut in front, and Cirrus doesn't think you want the plane yet so production is slower. One would think folks who have waited 5000 days would kind of like to get their plane before they are unable to use it.

Translation: Cirrus cares more about new sales than exiting deposit holders so they make it sound like new customers can get a plane quickly.

Mike,

You have an uncanny ability to interpret all Cirrus actions in the most negative way possible.

Are you like this regarding Beech, Cessna and Piper or is Cirrus special?
