I'm sure we can add a bit to this, but I thought I'd get it started.
Best,
Dave =================================================== The Jet Pilot As Seen By:
(HIMSELF) A tall, handsome, highly trained, professional flier, female idol, Avionics proficient, gentleman who is always on time due to the reliability of his Aviation watch. Cool under stress and immediately responsive to ATC requests while performing multiple tasks.
(HIS WIFE) A member of the family who completes recurrent training once a year and returns with a suitcase full of dirty clothes and a hard-on, wearing Aviation watch and speaking in acronyms.
(HIS PILOT ASSOCIATES) A fine specimen of a hard drinking, brawling, woman corrupting, association joining, tale embellisher with an aviation watch, numerous fuel discount cards and knowledgeable of where the FBOs are with the best facilities and freebees.

Notice when I posted it was open to change. I guess 'accurate time keeping devise' doesn't sound as good as Aviation Watch, but I'm just putting it out there as a starting place I'm sure some others on here can add good stuff.

Consider getting your multi in the jet that you want to type in. It's becoming more common these days. Guys moving from a Cirrus into a Mustang don't gain much from being beat up in an Aztec before going for their type in a jet. All depends on your objectives, if you want the piston twin experience, go for it, but if all you are looking for is a type rating, knock both of them out at the same time.
