Ugly is as Ugly does; anybody know anything about the plane, other than its pretty ugly and unconventional?

Dont know if anyone will really care how the pylons look from a particular angle. There is some aerodynamic or mechanical reason for their goofy look. Either the numbers on fuel burn and payload work or they dont. If they work, they'll sell jets, if they dont work, they dont.

I know I'm going to get killed for this, but how can you guys call that ugly? Its a jet for pete's sake. The ugliest jet is 10X better looking than my Bonanza. There is no one here who is not secretly lusting after it, well unless they have too much money anyway :hide:

Lanny,

you asked for it.

WTF! That had to be built by a government committee. There is no way a designer would have come up with all that mismatched crap without a lot of outside influence.

Jason has a knack for starting the most interesting threads. I think there's something there about knowing what the people want.

I had just been cleared for takeoff at Lakeland in late 2009 when the PiperJet came taxiing up. I was furiously snapping photos as I very slowly rolled onto the runway. The controller gently reminded me that I was cleared, and I suddenly realized that I was delaying the very plane I was drooling over.

Yeah, that ViperJet is cool. I like it too.

You guys complain about making your PAX wear O2. Try getting them to wear a pressurized jumpsuit and helmet for a trip to Disney.

One of my friends got to ride in an L39 a few years ago. The pilot let her keep the flight suit, and she was showing everyone the picture of her with a helmet on. Might get a little expensive with all those flight suits, though. :D
