I got the vertical stab all done this morning and unfortunately two of the white VG's slightly intrude into the blue stripe by just a little bit. I'm wondering if I should attempt to free hand paint the corners blue or should I just leave it alone. Am I being too anal about this? Your thoughts? Dave

Agree with Mike G. If they were all white it wouldnt bother me but since others are matched to the background I would paint the corners. Also, I really like the paint.

Ok, I peeled off the masking tape this evening and it looks good. All I have to do now is complete the 337's and test fly it. Dave

Dave you will love that Stec 30 w/ alt hold, I flew one several years and could not have been more satisfied, bullet proof, lose your vacum pump, just engage autopilot in nav mode. It can lock on the ILS and once you get your power settings worked, track the glideslope is no problem and if you should be fortunate enough to have a wass GPS and GPSS unit the Stec 30 will do all the tricks.

I have an STec 30, it does not fly the glide slope.
