What are you going to fly during the months (or years) of RV-7 construction? I can confirm that it will not be completed in a matter of months. That's all I have to say about that.
It's worth it to see it through to the finish. I've flown in various friends' 4, 6, and 7, and I once watched an 8 make its first flight. Some folks refer to RVs as "ramp fleas." It's meant facetiously and it's also a testament to what a hit these things are in the experimental/amateur-built world.

In One of the Flying Magazines they phrased it this way: Quote: In the world of experimental aircraft there are two types, RV's and everything else.

I took some time off over the holidays (grandchildren, travel). Also redid some of the top skin on the left wing. I wasn't happy with how it looked.

After about three years with no back seat passengers and only a couple right seat, I parted with my almost perfect TN A36. After looking hard for a couple months I found this RV7A, Garmin G3X touch, IO360 200 HP and made offer sight unseen. I now have about 40 hours in her and fly 3 times a week just for fun. TAS is 165 kts if you choose to burn an exorbitant amount of fuel (10 GPH) I really like BT and can't believe I found an RV thread.
