I never did update this post after I pimped my ride. I finally got to take some so-so pictures of the flight deck - in case anyone is wondering, here's what I ended up doing. I have to say, the more I use the G1000, the more I like it (and yes, I also hand fly the darn thing...). By the way, all of the nice little touches (such as the machined emblems) are courtesy of AeroComfort - the best interior shop in the country in my opinion. I always admired that one since I first saw your videos on youtube. I even came close to giving you a call when you put it up for sale last year but I wasn't ready to upgrade from the Baron yet.
