					| Florian,  I think that the numbers speak for themselves, and for the umpteenth time should be taken with a grain of salt.  Nowhere have I said that these numbers are engraved in stone.  What's more these numbers aren't merely mine - they are based on C & D, BCA, other users, and my own experience.  Remember also that I stated at the outset that these numbers come from March 2008 - this is old data, and may not be entirely accurate in April 2010. That said, the hourly does seem to match up with what others in this forum and elsewhere have said - seems Barons fly for around 450 to 500/hr, if the user is properly reserving, not cutting corners, etc.  These numbers do appear to be in line. Also, as I mentioned in the beginning when I posted these numbers along with disclaimers that have oft been repeated, I do not want to get into a flame fest with anyone; it seems that you and I are getting into exactly that - I feel that you have an axe to grind for whatever reason (I didn't think that I was rude when I questioned your contention that C90GT's burned 110 gph, but maybe I did . . .).   If you don't like or agree with the numbers, that is A-OK with me - no harm, no foul.  No one says you have to agree; furthermore, we have deviated significantly with your admitted nitpicking from what the OP originally intended in this discussion.  If you want to take the Baron discussion to the Baron forum, please, be my guest - I am sure that you'll find far more qualified people than me with whom to discuss current operating costs. Finally and again, if you have other numbers to consider - particularly turbine  numbers - please provide them.  I look forward to reviewing those and having an intelligent discussion, not argument, about those turbine numbers. Until then,    and have a great day!_________________

					| I flew in my mates PC-12/47 this week from FBFT-FLLK-FLLI-FBFT.
 On every route, we went direct FL280 climbing at 110Kts IAS. It took us +/- 19 Mins to get up there. It powers through FL220 at 1200FPM!! Unbelievable machine!! As soon as we levelled off at FL280 on EVERY leg, the GS accelerated straight to 255-260kts. We had a crosswind component of 12 Kts on the one leg, on the other legs the wind was relatively calm. This is my second time on relatively long legs in this particular machine, and all I can say is I was blown away. 260-270 TAS on 330 PPH is unreal. A B200 would be burning roughly 600PPH for the same performance.
 
 Now I am a Beechcraft fanatic, I just love them. I love having another engine. Period.
 
 But damn, Pilatus builds a fine machine. The cabin is huge, a nice flushing potty, lovely window shades to keep the sun out of your face, great avionics. Hell, its got everything a pilot/passenger/owner could want.

 Wow, the MU2 I flew in its day was great with its TFE-331's at 550-560PPH and about 272Kts at 24K. I see why this machine is getting the attention._________________
