He weeds it like a gardener, putting down anybody who disagrees with his opinion, displaying his supposed expertise, so his promotions can continue. He is trying to herd his future customers into a particular mindset that aligns with his views and services. Any deviation from that is to be attacked. So it depends on whose definition of "useful" you want to use. Mike C.
Agreed. And this isn't the only thread he's used for promotional purposes. He's in the garden pretty much every day, all day, too. Not sure how many current clients he's assisting right now but I hope they realize they're paying him a fee so he can be a top poster on BT!
I consider myself pretty active, been a member for 10 years and have a couple thousand posts. But he's been a member the same amount of time and has 4x as many posts, nearly 8,000!

I've actually been a member over a year longer than you and more than two years longer than Mike C.
As far as number of post, you might want to take a look at the post likes as well.
I currently have 7833 Post and 10,204 Post Likes.
You have 1970 Post and just 1573 Post Likes.
It appears that people at least prefer what I have to say.
As far as top poster? Not even close!

Bit of the irony there. You are replying to Mike C. and commenting about Chip's 8,000 posts. Now, mind that Mike C. has been a member for a little over 10 years (similar to you and Chip), and is pushing (real hard) 20,000 posts. Nearly 2X you and Chip combined! Hmmm. Make of that what you will, but I perceive that the seemingly endless Chip bashing takes away from BT.

That is what happens when you try to answer threads helpfully instead of creating them for promotional purposes. Chip has created 207 threads, I have created 108 threads. I have about 3 times the posts as Chip. Thus, I am 6 times more likely to answer a thread than to create one as compared to Chip. Mike C.

Mike C. Mike, you provide some great answers and have great experience. But your post count comes from the fact that you are six times more likely to jump into a thread about a 340 being stolen and mention how your Citation V locks are great.

I think you singlehandedly increased MU2 values by 30% or more. Now you're doing it to Citation V's? The only part I don't enjoy is when take part you go after Chip. I get it that you don't like what he's doing. I think we all get it. I think people that don't know a Beechcraft from a beech bum might have heard.
I think Chip adds quite a bit of value to BT also. Be nice to get the value you both offer without the associated pissing contests.

I’m dealing with a cohort of people who won’t fly with me and my turbo normalized 36. They want faster, I want less worry about ice. One of them wants the promise of an emergency potty if necessary I think I could get one of those with a baron.

I did modify my "flush" toilet to be a dry system, however. That blue toilet fluid has cost owners $millions in total with corrosion fixes. Saved 15 lbs, too. Mike C.

Hard enough to get replacement parts these days with supply line issues for planes that are still being made. How many extra engines are out there for the fleet? Not being made anymore.. Correct?
