Unless the plane is in the junkyard, airplanes and finished is an oxymoron.

A mechanic asked me: "What is the worst thing you can do to an airplane?"
Answer: Let it sit.
He then asked, "what is the second worst thing you can do to an airplane?"
Answer: Fly it

Plane is in escrow. I'm secretly hoping it will fall out, but got to let the guy have his 60 days. If it sells I'll live to fight another day with something that's more done. No more big project planes, no more shady mechanics.

I have read every page of this saga. Your patience and positivity have set an example for others to follow. However this sale turns out, I hope you find the aircraft of your dreams and fly the daylights out of it.

I've always had a soft spot for 680's, but they are so far out of my snack bracket that they're just a dream. You've done wonderful things in shining a bright light into the reality of the ownership of this one example.

Thank you Mark! I hope you can get one! The 680 piston models are great aircraft.

I do, but I have to honor the guy that had already put his deposit down and traveled to have it inspected. I'm hoping he doesn't want it. But if he does, it is what it is.

Way to stick to your word. I had a seller back out on me for a piece of farm equipment last year I was pretty fired up about it at the time.

If you do want to keep it, it is still honorable to pay for his expenses and give him the option to bow out.
