No matter what airplane I'm flying in a year or ten years from now, I don't think I will ever leave this forum. There is no other I've found which even comes close to the content, experience, usefulness and value of BT. What the Jeffs didn't tell you when you joined is that they limit the number of posts for BT members that don't own a Beechcraft. You're almost to that limit now. You'll either need to create a new account with a fake name, or... ...

Is that something like "I wouldn't belong to a club that would have me as a member"?

It would be a short meeting. Maybe they should give the entire staff a "golden parachute"?

Not only do they have the play book, they have fans telling them what plays work best. The only thing Cirrus is lacking right now is an opposing team.

I think what made the difference is they didn't rest when they got technologically ahead. The "X" option fixed one of my biggest complaints. When they only offered white with a ribbon stripe, there was no individuality, the ramp was full of carbon copies.
Individualizing a Cirrus became an critical ingredient, and they significantly raised expectations for their interiors and exteriors. They have added some real sizzle to their product, and it's well implemented.
A new Cirrus is priced like buying a Ferrari times 2 or 3. They need to look like one and some of them actually do.

Well, there is the FAA...

Prior to JC's post about the Honda Jet, I thought his old avatar picture was actually a picture of himself.

Well, there is the FAA...
Based on their history of getting innovations approved, their relationship with the FAA seems to be at the very least productive.
The other manufacturers like to use the FAA as an excuse for their lack of innovation. That turbocharged 550 in the SR22T could be powering a G36TC with 4100lb MTOW if Beech had just put some effort into it. The Cessna Corvallis line is dead not because the FAA did something bad to the company but because Cessna management screwed it up. Pipers lack of a product range and absence of a marketing organization is also not the FAAs doing.
