A insightful choice, supported by recent data.

The Wisdom of Crowds: Why the Many Are Smarter Than the Few and How Collective Wisdom Shapes Business, Economies, Societies and Nations, published in 2005, is a book written by James Surowiecki about the aggregation of information in groups, resulting in decisions that, he argues, are often better than could have been made by any single member of the group. The book presents numerous case studies and anecdotes to illustrate its argument, and touches on several fields, primarily economics and psychology.

These are from a good book too. :D

Proverbs 11:14,15
Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety. He that is surety for a stranger shall smart for it: and he that hateth suretiship is sure.

Proverbs 15:22
Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counsellors they are established.

Another good book, written in the 1800s is "Extraordinary Popular Delusions and Madness of Crowds".

It's a relevant today as when it was written.

Best,

That is about collective 'action' as opposed to seeking advice or counsel.

Mike,

If your friend is interested in financing this Eclipse, I would be willing to discuss it. I have one Eclipse in my aircraft financing portfolio currently. Depending on Credit, Collateral and terms, it might be a fit for us.

Big loan on a luxury item - obviously he could buy a King Air (must have some source for the other 50% of the jet purchase price). Must have JET fever....

They are two entirely different aircraft. The Eclipse is a Ferrari and the KA is a Ford Excursion. The Eclipse doesn't carry half of what the KA does, doesn't have nearly the room, the range, nor can it operate off from grass strips. However, compared to the Eclipse, the KA is slow as hell, flies low in all the crap weather, is loud, and burns a ton more fuel.

Yeah,

You can fly a 100kts faster and 10k feet higher but you can't fly it into Knoxville Downtown Airport this May for Max Grogans' get together. We can in the B200.

Sometimes the ferrari isn't all that cool.

I think you have misdiagnosed this part.

Even when you hafta leave it in the garage it's pretty cool IMHO

But Ferrari drivers generally aren't single car families.

I would love to make it if possible. Max is always an excellent host.

Just curious though, what will be impressive about it?
