I will NEVER buy a plane that is labeled G-Anything. You are buying an airframe based on it's ability to have the avionics supported. Just look at all the G1000 guys with non-waas and their frustrations. Ridiculous. AGREED 10000%. I look at my non-glass P Baron as a total blessing. I think it won't be too long before I can triple screen G3X Touch it and have the best Baron panel on planet earth. If you have a factory glass panel, you are forever married to that system.

I have a question and maybe it's already been asked, but...would it be possible to move an Eclipse into the Experimental category and do what ever you want to it? What would be the drawbacks? Dave

One of the flight schools I teach at has a bunch of LSA Remos GX's with the Dynon. They are sending them back a few times a year for repair. One of the planes is on it's fifth one, they crap out every summer. Decent units when they work, but reliability issues galore and no comparison to Garmin, IMHO.
