If money was no object: TBM900

If money was somewhat of an object: TBM700C2 or early 850

22 grandkids, Cessna Grand Caravan, then either a P-47 or Spitfire for fun. I like the F-15E idea too. :D

I'd have to say the Kestrel because it would be close in size to a Pilatus but much faster. 2nd tier would be either the PC-24 or Nextant 400XTi.

After that I'd probably want to design my own airplane.

Epic or PC 12 for me. I think the Epic would fit in my hangar, the Pilatus wouldn't. Ground movements at some airports are likely difficult with the Pilatus given its size.

On the otherhand movement within the Pilatus is likely much easier. I wouldn't relish the journey between the pilot's seat and the door in the Epic.

Anyone know how the Epic performs on rough strips? Everyone knows the Pilatus is at home there.

If money were truly no object, I should get the PC12 while waiting for my Epic, then decide which I preferred. But I like to optimize.

If money really is no object, then I want a fully restore F6F Hellcat...with guns n' ammo! The whole 9 yards even.

But a new M600 from Piper would be very cool too.

Starship Enterprise

You guys have such limited imaginations.

(Actually, a warp capable shuttle would be enough...)

PC12 or TBM 900. I never set in either one, so my decision would have to be made at that time. I have my 3rd kid due Monday so the F16 would be nice, but it would get me divorced.

Yeah but you would have a F-16!! You can always get another wife.

If your going to go with a cool fighter jet then why wouldn't you want an F22 Raptor? That would be my choice!

Because it has two engines the question was what single engine aircraft would you buy.

Not trying to slam on the TBM, but why would you choose a TBM900 over a Pilatus if your checkbook is unlimited?

Without doing the google search, I understand that the TBM is some knots faster and much better looking, but more deficient in range and space ...

Corsair.

Good choice - a Navy airplane, of course. :duck:

The Corsair would always be more of a USMC fighter than a USN fighter. The type was declared "ready for combat" at the end of 1942, though only qualified to operate from land bases until carrier qualification issues were worked out.

It would be my 1st choice, the 2nd an A4, but it would have to be an "M" since it had a self starter and wouldn't need a ground huffer . . .
