Simple really: and no disrespect meant to anybody. One "boaster" at one level meets another "boaster" at another. Egos are insatiable. They're always looking for another satisfaction. The funny thing is that many times what we see in another we don't like usually resides in ourselves.
MC has a very high degree of training and education. It's been informative to see his ego sorta discount all he has to offer. But then instead of putting that stuff to use somewhere in the field he's here playing/boasting on BT.

Not true !!!
When I fly the corporate jet emails and calls are sent out along with follow up calls to make everything go smooth.. A handler can be very useful: I don't care to land and go figure it out for a 2 hours--- I'm on vacation... With a handler there are benefits.. They know the system, They know the locals, They can get you a fuel truck when others wait, They can get you a taxi when others wait. They will arrange your pick up at the hotel. They will watch your plane and be contact for you at the airport when your on the beach. They will file your customs paperwork.... All the above is an advantage of having a handler. Yes- you can get by without but it's without a doubt easier with a handler. Mexico ( Cancun ) is hardly a remote destination so a handler might have the advantages as other destination... Benn around the world using handlers... And I've gone without to some destinations.. I just don't like surprises when I land.. Cancun would be a destination that you could do on your own very easy especially after several visits. When I go out of the USA I want a local talking the local.. I'm a foreigner...

I didn't go to "great lengths" to study the days flights into PDK to confirm because I don't really care. I was just going by radio chatter. If others got in too that's great. I was coming in international and CBP met me at the plane. They said "we were supposed to meet many planes here today but you're one of the few who got in". So I went with that. I didn't think the landing was any big deal. I never went "missed". My ILS wouldn't couple on the first time I was being vectored in. So asked to loop around for a minute while I reloaded the approach and did some troubleshooting. Maybe I pushed the wrong button? But I fixed it and landed........ no big deal. I just love how much it chaps your ass (and Ciholas) when I claim that "my PC12 can get in when others cannot". Sends you guys into a frenzy of trying to prove me wrong. I'll bet you guys are a blast to hang out with with. What did you and Ciholas do for New Years? I don't know how to look it up.

Jason- I'm not sure of all your destinations but I would go out on a limb that they are located in the Bahamas, Caribbean, Mexico.. Just a hunch !! Those places -- IMO Don't require a handler but could be of some use for the 1st timer that wants a little help navigating the process.. A google search will find you a handler. Universal, Airinc, Jeppesen, Ventus. A quote cost nothing and you can alcarte their services.
Going to places where English is not so common would be the key advantage.

Yeah. No handler required in those places. I haven't found a place where English wasn't pretty common.
