So, you think that he made $100,000 in revenue form a youtube video of him doing this? I have a hard time believing that, but WTHDIK? $3 per thousand video views and average $18 per thousand ad views is what I was able to find for someone with his following. If he hasn't made $100k, he's getting close.

Apparently this guy caught a 50 cal round ricochet to the head earlier this year while trying to shoot through steel plate from 4 ft away. (Key the “Real Men of Genius” song) https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.the-su ... iesel/amp/

Sigh, what a sad ending for the aircraft. I guess one can be a complete idiot and make a living from youtube. That is so sad on many levels.

That's assuming every view actually watches enough in to get to the ads - the dropoff rate is generally very high, which brings down the numbers pretty quick. That's why it's generally ranges and not hard numbers, and most "good" channels estimate the final revenue as $3-5 per 1000 views. 3M views/1000*$5 = $15k. Most estimates have him making $1.8-2M a year, but that's with a backlog of videos also still bringing in daily revenue. That video is going to be closer to the $15-20k mark after it plays out IMHO (~3M views), which is still a profit if he spent $8-10k on the plane.

He was shooting a SLAP(Sabot Light Armor Penetrator) round. Its either a bullet fragment or more likely the plastic sabot hit him. Drama Queen.

- Martin Haha he must have read this post and decided to make a video about showing a kid how to Fly. Personally I thought it was funny and entertaining. I for sure cringed when he kept hurting the plane but it was just going to get thrown away anyway. But the kids reaction to the plan was dang funny. LOL https://youtu.be/jjmvkkgLDtkMike

Kid was pretty confident till he was alone in there and not sure if it was going to happen for real.
Last video was rough but this video pretty well finished it off. But he put the fire out so more to come. Probably off a cliff at some point or drop remains from a helicopter.
Local kid here said he paid Whistling Diesel $70 for a jar of ground up truck parts from trucks he destroyed. Going back for hats shirts etc. The guy is a marketing genius. I think he is a total ass but that is what the viewers want sadly.
He is encouraged by this and attention he is getting in the chat boards apparently. I imagine since airplanes are relatively cheap compared to Audi R8s and Dodge Hellcats there will be more destruction. Kids told me they had not see an episode where he commented on reactions from facebook, youtube and other sources. He’s got the haters to watch now which is even more views.
I predict he will be buying random ramp queens to destroy in the back field in the future. Probably bigger, But with money to burn It might end up being something nice to really piss people off. Base warbirds like a down condition BT-13 or T-6 are not out of reach looking at where his previous project budgets might be.
But double standard, if I hit accidentally hit hole or clip a fence on landing and tip the airplane up it’s a whole FAA parade but not in this case.
Wish I had some of those spare taper shaft prop hubs in the video before they were destroyed.
