Yeah, yeah, yeah. You know more rich people than me. You know people with better morals than me. Good for you
It ain't a contest JC. Just giving you a perspective. Take it for what 'it's worth.

The cockpit is still a little small for me, but the Phenom crosses pretty much every single box that the Pilatus did. It's an incredibly well built airplane and is the one of, if not the best, owner flown jet............ The back is as nice as the PC12 and they have copious baggage space. I can load 5 boards in the back and still have tons of space...........The sold a ton of them new last year......just incredible. Attachment: 300Cockpit.jpg

Attachment: 300Cockpit.jpg I agree it's a bit tight if you are over 6'2" but the good news is we can squeeze another couple inches of legroom if you need Michael. Better news is you don't have to be there that long at 450 Knots

Bruce, That's just "plane" mean to point out that Michael, JC, Marc, Tony and I are almost 200KTS slower than the 300. Darn man stop with the facts please. Now to the substance how are you providing the option for more leg room?

Easy there, 100 kts slower maybe. On short flights it wont matter as you will never see 450 kts. Username Protected wrote: :D Bruce,

We are doing 300kts in the TBM and poor Pilatus drivers are doing 250-270. My math for the SUV of the sky's is 450-250=200. Marc most of my flights are 1-3+ hours so 400+ in the mid to high 30's sounds pretty good if possible. Wonder if 300 has real world legs for 11-1500nm IFR trips, NBAA. Quote: Well, you start by moving the seat back and modifying the cabinetry if required. It's not free, but there's no reason to be hard up against a chart box or partition and have your knees wedged in your panel in your $5-10m plane. It's the same as the Commanders where the first mod I require is long seat tracks. How people put up with uncomfortable seats and seating positions in about any airplane is beyond me. The best safety device is a comfortable captain, right? The difference is every mod or change is much harder with new equipment. Easy 1,500 nm plane. It's CJ3/4 range no problem. edit: apparently I need recurrent on multi level quoting

edit: apparently I need recurrent on multi level quoting Your's and Chucks "back and forth" is hard to follow. I don't think any PC12 or TBM owner in this thread wouldn't rather be "owning" a Phenom 300. But you're comparing a $9MM airplane to $4.5MM or less airplanes. I the 300 was $4.5MM we'd all have 300's. That said, I follow the market and there are already 300's that have depreciated into the $4MM range and lower and they continue to drop. So we all probably will all make the switch If one or 2 of us hasn't already and just doesn't want to tell anyone.

In terms of usage, I helped a friend actually select NetJets as a solution. Charter was a fair amount of hassle, and they only wanted to fly three/four trips a year across the country. NetJets had a perfect program for them at the time. It seems like it always comes back to mission If your mission matches NetJets and you have limited number of hours a year usage it really is perfect. Tim
