In my estimate, the G3's with the Avidyne R9 system is the absolute best value. The R9 is as capable as the Perspective, costs in the neighborhood of $70k to install, and caries next to no extra cost. It's remarkable. Would I rather have the Perspective? Absolutely. But we're talking value. BTW, mine is Perspective, and I love it. Attachment: IMG_9012.JPG

Everytime I post a photo on BT or share one with a fellow pilot, I check over every detail cuz I know someone with more time on their hands than I have will comb over it and find some piddly mistake. Don't people like that just drive you nuts??

In addition to what others have said Cirrus has continually improved the quality of the construction and finishes of the product. If you look closely at a 2006 model compared to later ones I think you will see that. With that said I have two friends with very early SR20's that have been repainted, and how has had the seats recovered, and they look stunning. All of them fly remarkably well.
