Jack, that is EXACTLY what I was looking for, seriously, saved my head (pun intended) Username Protected wrote: I've fixed my seat issue
We make it back and forth from KFXE to KCRQ with one stop, normally Waco, which is smack bang in the middle and I normally land with about 800 to 1000lbs of fuel.
.
Why are you choosing Waco for your stop? Denton TX has cheap CAA fuel and a nice FBO. I am always looking for good stops in that next of the woods for the same reason you are.
As Mike C noted, it's way, way faster and they have it dialed in with the tower too. Arrivals and departures as quick and easy...., especially the departure, straight out, up and then direct. The turn around is fast and the gas is always the cheapest....DFW airspace just adds another whole set of complexity for a quick turn........
Quote: How did you fix your seat?
My issue with my seat, other than it not able to recline is that the leg rests were too 'sloppy' thereby not allowing you to get full support under them that even distributes the weight across all seated areas.....I made them as tight and high up as possible and added some memory foam under the back of my thighs, feels like a lazy boy now.....I also rest my feet on the rudder pedals.........now after 5 hours I feel perfectly fine. The last flight I made avoiding the weather on Saturday was just under that and I felt great after landing........
Now that I have a potential solution to my #2 issue, I'm almost giddy
Jason, let me know how build 10 goes..........I'm gonna wait for a few before I schedule.....

Username Protected wrote: can you email it to me........I'm not using a blood coagulant, just some crappy stuff used for cats........it's crap http://www.amazon.com/Reliance-Products ... ag=btalk-20These work great. Double bag, both bags are glued together, outer bag is a heavy zip lock which gets wadded up in the bottom of the can, inner bag is the black bag which lines the can and wraps over the top or under the seat. Coagulant is in the black bag, but I throw an adult depends in the bag as well. Pulls out and seals easily, no mess, no smell.
I bought those one time when I ran out of my regular. Don't like them much but they can work.
I like http://noodor.com/p/urine-travel-john-t ... bsorb.html
When there is heavy use the standard amount of absorbant granules in the Reliant bag are no where near enough. With this I just add more if needed, or add the right amount at when the bag is put in place.

+1 When you can stay in the air and keep your people happy you get to your destination fast. Mine lav never gets used on flight less than 3 hours. Nobody even asks. It's the flights going west to ski and stuff when it gets used. I never seem to use it.

I am getting my bottom seat cushion customized now. Initially i did not put the time into sampling the different options.
Leg room never an issue in the commander my seat slides WAY back.
I will give ACT a look. I had work in the dfw area so was just researching that local.
Next trip will be a pass through enroute to Florida and then a visit to see Baylor University.
Waco sounds even better now!

Vriend, the reliant bags are more bag than absorbant (which is why the diaper was thrown in). You need a heavy duty but small garbage bag to which you add the granules. If, when the nanny takes a look and says it is wet then you add more granules like salt. They absorb everything. After a few trips you (sorry, your nanny) will know exactly how much of the granules to add for a 10 person two leg trip, with no liquid and no stink. The reliant bags are made in my hometown so I gave them a good run but they are not up to serious amounts of 1&2.

Seriously, these things are gold.

I'll add a few more stats for the PC12: - 630 aircraft in the NG fleet - 3.5 years and 2 million hours since the last fatal accident - 0 fatalities due to an engine failure
