5 years is FAST. Mustang went from announcement to first deliveries in 5 years and it was about the fastest jet development program ever.
Eclipse 500: 8 years announcement to first delivery.
Cirrus SF50: 9 years and counting...
Mike C. And you didn't even mention Honda! (wonder if they'll get it out to the masses in under 2 decades? )
Considering I fueled the prototype when I was a line boy in the early 90s, I would have to say that no, they will not deliver in your time frame.

PC12 330 sq ft Phenom 325 sq ft Equals the same, except when you consider the cargo space
Winner phenom 300
Phenom 300 has 325 cubic feet including the exterior baggage. I've sat in both side by side many times. The Phenom 300 is NOT larger than a PC12. Since when was exterior baggage a bonus? Even the new PC24 has interior baggage. Of course I'd take a Phenom 300 over a PC12. Phenom 300 is $9MM, PC12 is $4.7MM. But they're awful close performance wise considering one of them is twice the price of the other.
That's incorrect. How is cargo space and cabin space computed in the PC12
I prefer exterior baggage otherwise plane has a freight/passenger combo feel.
They look pretty close especially when you consider the phenom 300 cabin is longer!

You're gonna have to show me how I'm incorrect. Do you have a link showing the cabin volume of the Phenom 300 cabin? Everything I'm finding shows you counting "exterior baggage" as "cabin space" which I don't count as cabin space in my book. Here's the PC12 cabin: http://www.pilatus-aircraft.com/#12As for "bags in the cabin"..... even the new PC24 keeps the bags in the cabin and it's on purpose. Every flight someone has to get something out of a bag.... And, many flights we have no bags so that space is open and usable for whatever. Never had a complaint about bags in the back that also happen to be "in the cabin". What's the benefit of exterior baggage? You just don't like how it looks? Also, my cargo door is the sh$t. Cant imagine loading everything through the pax door. My cargo door is used every flight just like my barn doors on my A36 were used every flight. The cargo door on the PC24 is awesome. As for $$ You really should be comparing the Phenom 300 to the PC24.. Not my cheap plane. PC12 is for poor people.

That diagram of the two fuselages comes from the Pilatus website!. I don't like how it looks and less loose stuff is safer. See any gulf streams without exterior baggage? It's obvious you don't understand how space is counted. Add up your airplanes sq ft, can you explain it?

When I saw that cargo door on a U-28 (USAF PC-12), I wanted one on the King Airs I fly. I'm a twin fan as long as I'm not buying the gas, but trying to get a lot of crap in a King Air, then getting myself up to the cockpit is a massive PITA. I'd say it's probably my favorite thing about PC-12 vs BE-300.

Fly into Vegas during the Mayweather fight and you really feel it. If it's got a prop after all, you're ghetto dude. I bet chicks think my plane is cooler, at least it has TWO props.
It's funny what the public doesn't know...I fly the NG to Vegas all the time, and make a note to self that it's usually more valuable than 3 of the jets next to it, combined. They get more love, because they are buying 700 gallons, and I'm buying 100.
That's one little minus for the PC-12, its murdering my Atlantic Awards account!

What's your point in this thread? Are you in the market for either airplane? Why you being so rude?

Dual props..... me and Silverthorne have cornered the market on that.......plus chicks just dig us No way bro. I've been making fun of prop planes since BT was founded. You twin guys thinking "my planes is a twin and attracts more chicks".... Yeah, that works if it's a jet. 2 props is twice as "clowny" as 1 prop. I'm starting to forget what twin props looks like. I never see them anywhere. None were on the ramp at LAS when I was there a couple weeks ago.

Different world now....I know you've been reading about the twins, the piston twins!
Chicks know, it takes special skill to fly a piston twin. You can handle a lot of levers.....and you have just the right touch.
Piston's twins are like old school renaissance men, they teach you and those along for the ride, things you never knew.......
Jet's just get you from point a to b, push the throttle, level off, land........no excitement, anticipation, no enjoyment whatsoever, no finesse, nuttin. Even Mark H said he's going back to the 310.......he's going back old school.......that's why he has not been on Beechtalk in the past three hours......phone's ringing off the hook......
Chicks....they just dig two props....trust me on this one........
