You go through every comparable aircraft type and you will see that the low wing competitor will always demand a premium. Malibu gets more than a P210 King Airs and Conquests more than MU-2's and Commanders. etc, etc. Appearances matter. Adam, I think the value of the Shrike Commander might put a hole in that theory!

That's a sweet panel Max. Andrew

There are not enough of them that are active owner/operators. Thats what happens when you leave the piston world (excepting jetprops/meridians). The Conquest II is a beast. The hard part is finding one with reasonable airframe hours for a realistic price tag. You need a monster hangar also.

I've just bought the hangar. I will need to widen the door if I go this route but a hangar neighbor has done theirs and I have the engineering and contractor information. If I go with something smaller like a TBM I'm good to go.
Max has been tremendously helpful with information, as has my neighbor, but I'd like to read even more. Pity there isn't as much information easily available as there is for some other airframes.

What was it like to own, maintain, handling, useful load and anything that you think was unique about it.

425s are great easy to fly and super comfortable planes. If your really interested in a 425, check out The Bacon Aviation low utilization maintenance program. www.baconaviation.com

As far as I know there is no place where the 300 or so 441 owners can congregate. I suggested to the head of the Twin Cessna organization that they should include the Conquest series, but so far no go. So for now, Beechtalk

What is the typical UL, fuel capacity and range of the 425? 250kts on 60gph in a twin t-prop sounds awfully attractive to me.
