Click, click, click, click. Never really understood why it took four clicks to deautomate. Then I flew the 737-800 and I’ll be damn of it didn’t take four clicks.

That's a great video Mark, thanks. I didn't see any policy I disagree with, even though it was more than 20 years ago.

Interesting. I am .25 to .75 cheaper at every location you listed. Go figure. Lynne. Y’all getting taken.

Can’t say who. Double secret probation for that stuff.

But no not Universal. My prices are .10-35 less than universal.

Well then your data doesn’t mean much. We were specifically comparing Universal and World. The prices quoted in this thread were only for those two, and not necessarily the cheapest available.

I don’t really need the iPad for enroute maps, I use it for departures, arrivals and approaches. Paper would do the same job but the CJ cockpit doesn’t have room for even one Jepp binder let alone a full flight kit (I carried one of these around in my TWA days too). I was never on the 74, but the 1011 had a nice desk next to each pilot. We didn’t need to be very space conscious.

John,

Not being familiar with your avionics capabilities, I made maybe an incorrect assumption that the pertinent plate was displayed on one of your screens. I better learn something more about the set- up of your avionics before making more incorrect assumptions.

Yes, we had a nice little table to our side for what ever, and a clip on the yoke for the arrival and approach plate, just like you did at TWA. :D

In fact, I owe you an apology in making other incorrect assumptions, because I didn't know your background in aviation; to me experience is everything in this segment of aviation..

You don’t owe me anything of the sort, I appreciate your comments. I’m not necessarily all that good in the CJ and enjoy learning all I can.

Might be the weather too.

It seems counterintuitive, but in general, it’s not best to have 12 (and use them all) fuel providers. A lot of times, the discounts are based on volume. If you’re spreading around the vendors all the time, you’re not getting premium pricing with any of them.

You should be around $8.30 at KDCA and $4.75-4.80 at KIAD, depending on the quantity purchased.

I a sorry if I got lost. No glass at this moment for I am confused. actually I was responding to your comment above. It seems that the prices you are quoting based on volume. I have no volume and get lower prices with my 12 programs managed by JetFuelX. Tip of the hat to the creator Jason T who has all but vanished.

Actually the only thing you suck at is lying, Clearly you are the finest learning pilot in a CJ2..despite my occasional gross negligence as Darin King and I, drunk at mammoth laughed so hard we still hurt. It was long over do, Love Darin. Go to CJ mentor. Anything for DKm he the best boss

Same, mentor. Btw. He says Olivia is better than both of us. :bat:

Here are the apologies Lynne and paul owe us. We value your insights but they are 121 think.

Challenge to 121 guys. Kid gloves. You are dancing in a world has little to do wit 121. Get to wwwknow the 91,guys, To a man I have never heard a 91 guy who thinks a 121 guy or 135 for that matter has a shot in the 91 world. Frankly most 91 guys feel the 121,135 guy makes a awful 91 WThere. I said.

My numbers in ($...) from the WFS web site:

MMSD $3.24634 ($2.76305)
BJC $6.94 ($7.04220)
BUR $4.51177 ($4.57517)
HOU $3.78243 ($3.94043)
MDW $5.96374 ($6.02736)
BOI $4.02561 ($4.19501)

Universal, Uvair numbers:

MMSD $3.26 ($3.55)
BJC $6.96 ($7.04)
BUR $4.49 ($4.55)
HOU $3.91 ($3.95)
MDW $6.27 ($6.27)
BOI $4.18 ($4.16)

So it seems that for WFS and Uvair, at least, prices do vary with customer. Oddly, the variance can be lower or higher for any given location as evidenced above. That's a huge matrix of per site, per customer variances to keep track of.

Interesting. And a shame that WFS doesn’t work with JetFuelX.
@Mark Hangen, not 121. Never have been.

Well, yeah, my best prices in each location in ($...):

MMSD $3.26 ($2.76)
BJC $6.96 ($6.91)
BUR $4.49 ($4.23)
HOU $3.91 ($3.41)
MDW $6.27 ($5.75)
BOI $4.18 ($3.43)

Which fits your statement of being generally cheaper than Uvair.

The idea was to compare exactly the same contract fuel providers at exactly the same FBOs and airport to see if they are setting prices differently for different customers.

Well, it *can* work with JFX.

First, you need to get WFS to send you the weekly price spreadsheet file by email. Contact your account rep to ask for that.

Second, you forward the weekly fuel price spreadsheet file to JFX when you receive it each week to your "special" JFX import email address (every account gets one).

When JFX receives the file, it imports and uses it for fuel prices for that fuel provider.

So, my JFX includes my WFS fuel prices. I merely have to forward the new price list every week when it arrives.

I don't understand why WFS is boneheaded about working with JFX. This must be costing them business. I find the WFS web site, "FuelFinder", to be hard to use and slow, so I don't use it. If WFS stops sending me the weekly file, I will probably delete my account. It is fun to have their data because it covers so many airports internationally which allows me to day dream about flying places and what the fuel would cost.
