It is the quietest airplane I have ever been in in 45 years of airline, corporate and private flying. This includes Falcons, CJ's, M2, and waaaaay quieter than any other turboprop. Think sedan Mercedes quiet with a low whine from the engines. Wow. Thats very impressive. Even in the back? I would expect it to be somewhat quieter in the cockpit (farther from the engines), but maybe wind noise, what little there is, replaces engine noise? And will your paint job include the Dallas Cowboys Star like your MU2 did?

When I had my opportunity to fly it I rode in the back one leg and flew the other. It was quieter in the back due to less wind noise (not that there’s my much at all upfront).
Yes. It’s already painted blue and silver so how can I resist? I still miss her..

As a die hard Eagle, I have to hate the star........but the rest of the scheme looks good! I’ve seen that plane across the runway at IJI a time or two, and always wondered whose it was.

I am drooling over this thread.
I have on question on the avanti. Do you have ice doors like a king air that you must open and close depending on icing conditions? With the engines mounted backwards it got me thinking if ice doors were necessary.
Thanks! Patrick
