Apparently they do have some form of a degenerate maintenance plan. Sorta like CASP and RC. They told me each unit was about $6-8K to replace. Reminds me of about 10 years ago Im at a maintenance center in Brunswick Ga. They're working on Trumps (707?) I ask the pilots and mechanics about EFIS. They said they much preferred steam. One EFIS AHARS the plane was AOG and out $50K. Steam. redundancy and out maybe $2K.

Going to play you're going to pay.

Maybe this has been debated before but if Mark has SPW but not a CFI, can a right seater without SIC log time?

Since any typed pilot can sign off an SIC -type rating I would think the answer would be yes. Unless you can’t log the time required to earn your SIC type.

I took Mark up on his offer once. I’ll have 200 hours in the 550 by end of year.

It has been a very rewarding experience. I can’t thank him enough and would encourage you guys to do it.

It is rewarding to share these opportunities with others. On the other hand you need to take advantage of these great opportunities. I took a young flight instructor operating out of San Antonio for a chance to fly a Learjet back in the day. I still have the thank you card she mailed to me.

One of these days there will be a KSAW origin trip where I hope to take you up on one of those offers. KSAW looks to be a 1.5 hour hop from MKE in the Deb.

Rode the airlines MSP-PHX today. Cruised at FL280 to minimize the headwinds. So cool you're willing to share your experience

Not this one. Too many work things booked tomorrow already. Will PM contact info, though.

I'd be next to useless, but it sounds like fun.

Been noticing that fuel programs sometimes price out higher than retail. Pretty sure I don’t get how that works.

Jet A is getting pricey. Paid $6.48 at KLAN. I have fuel farms at Scottsdale and Marquette. $2.35 gal plus 70 cent uplift. IBT is my new acronym.

I be tankerin’
